Does anyone know how or where to locate original type window stickers and/or associated documents. I know there are places for other type/older vehicles but I do not know for corvettes. Mine is a 2000. Thank you.

You can buy them from the Corvette museum. Go to their web site and you can order them.

Join the NCM first. Then once that is done, you can order the window sticker and build sheet at the member price. Used to be that you could join and order at the same time. Now you need to join first, then order.

The only thing that **might** still be on the car is the build sheet, although if you are not the original owner of the car you wouldn't know for sure. The build sheet is located on the front bumper crash bar (it would be taped there as the car went down the line for assembly). When it came time to install the front fascia and components it was simply left there. Obviously accessing it is a bit difficult and again if you're not the original owner you wouldn't know if it was there or not.

Agree with everyone else that if you want good printed material check with the NCM. They will have all the build information on your car.

If you want to check out some small things in the meantime you can determine exactly what build and job number your car is at the link below;

http://www.c5registry.com/membersonl...n/2kc5prod.htm

Use the last six of your VIN to determine the information, find your range, then add or subtract accordingly. For example, if you VIN is 100320, it falls in between "100310" and "100403". It would have been built on July 1st, 1999 and would have been the 10th job [build] that day (Job #302 for 2000 production). If you buy the build sheet from the NCM it will have the VIN job information on it.

I was really surprised when I started going through my car after I bought it. I saw the manuals in the glove box, inside was the original window sticker, original invoice, the manual for the (not working) CD changer, the receipt for the exhaust, it was all there. The only thing I am missing is the pen/pencil (not sure what goes in the spot).

Corvette owners are crazy.
