Please HELP!!! Swps

i am replacing the swps and in the process of pulling the column I cracked the green plastic housing/bearing that goes around the swps. I have ordered a new one but wonder how to get it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also there appears to be a retainer ring holding it on but I don't know the best way to remove it
