Another abs problem solved
I have a 2000 base model C5 with a 6 speed, I got the abs warning and service light only when I was backing up and making a sharp turn while backing up. I could restart it and never see the warning again....Put a new set of tires on it two weeks ago and I've never seen the warning again, The codes I got was miss matched tire speeds so getting the right tires seemed to work. Just sharing my experience.

Having the right stagger front to rear certainly helps. Glad you got it solved.

I have a 2000 6 speed as well. Mine has active handling. I went to the store to put air in my tires one time this summer and when I cut the wheel I got warnings. Turns out after running the codes it was a loose speed sensor connection. It hadnt made an issue since. I did pick up a spare active handling module for cheap earlier this year. I tested it and upon confirmation put it back in my basement for a rainy day. Fingers crossed I dont ever need it.
