C5R Splitter
How have you guys mounted/installed the C5R splitter from Corvette Creations?
My body shop is telling me that the vertical mounting section would hit the tires...my car is lowered on coilovers....don't know if that matters?
This is on top of the rear spoiler not fitting correctly (C-style)...if centered it hits one quarter panel properly...has a 3/8" gap on the other side.

I used to have one and the uprights did rub on my tires when turning. Since nobody else ever mentioned it here, I placed blame on my tire size which is a slightly larger profile and hence diameter than stock. I had to trim the upright and use tapered head screws to account for it.
I was lowered nearly all the way on stock front bolts. Even raising the car a bit to prevent scraping would still result in hitting that area.

I have had the C5R front splitter for about 3 years now. Love the look and aggressive stance that it promotes. I àm running 275 35 19 tires and get a slight rub on the inside corners of the upright pieces that mount to the inner wheel well when turning very sharp. Not a big deal to me.
I used aluminum rivets and stainless wide flanged washers to secure the splitter to the front fascia. I lined my rivets up with the screws that hold the fascia together at the radiator air intake at the center.
Spaced three rivets.evenly on the corners as well.
