Well it looks like everyone has an opinion and everyone is right!! So it looks like there is no right or wrong answer so whatever I do I will agree with someone!! Thanks for the reply's, it makes me feel better no matter what I do with the latches. Wife and her sisters

Well I'd think it won't open up since the back has to come up also. Some wind mind lift it some and it'll rattle so you'll know you forgot 'something' and reach up and latch them. When I leave mine unlatched I leave the visors down so I'll remember to latch.
At least we vert owners don't have to worry about the FRS !

I keep mine latched all the time when I'm not driving her, Been doing this since I bought it back in 2013, plus it keeps bugs-spiders and varmits out too. And in the desert with the crazy winds we get, there is a lot of dust blowing in the air, so closing it keeps that out too.
