Well it looks like everyone has an opinion and everyone is right!! So it looks like there is no right or wrong answer so whatever I do I will agree with someone!! Thanks for the reply's, it makes me feel better no matter what I do with the latches. Wife and her sisters

It will lift! I had a detail guy not relatch mine and it lifted at about 35 mph, I was lucky it didn't wait until 70 mph to warn me, I'm sure that would have been bad.

My vote is ......if its up latch it!

I keep mine latched all the time when I'm not driving her, Been doing this since I bought it back in 2013, plus it keeps bugs-spiders and varmits out too. And in the desert with the crazy winds we get, there is a lot of dust blowing in the air, so closing it keeps that out too.
