I just bought my first Corvette. 2001 base coupe, dark navy blue metallic with light oak. Sport seats, 66,800 miles. From family legend, I was in my first 'Vette in 1953. I was too young to remember that, but I have ridden in some, driven some, and lusted after them since the early '60's that I remember. Glad to finally achieve the goal.

I know, this thread is no good without pictures. I don't pick it up until next week (~Nov 15). It is sitting in a Chevrolet dealers showroom in PA, I am in a new house in AL (new state for me). I'll post some when I can.

Always waved riding my Triumph (or Bennelli, or Harley Sprint), and I've waited quite a while to do the 'Vette wave. Looking forward to it!
