Default C5 trunk space

Does anyone know if the C5 trunk is big enough to fit a faux Christmas tree box? I ought to know before I get to the store.

It would be 4-6 feet, going in the trunk of a convertible.

If it fits in the trunk, you'll be taking it back after the wife sees it set up.

The Trunk is fairly spacious
What it Lacks is Depth
A lot of Little Things
But Nothing Big

Fake trees are assembled from small sections and come in a fairly small box. The ones I have seen in the store would easily fit.

If the box is the size of a golf bag, maybe a little bigger, it should fit.

My full-size tree is in a box that is 52" x 20" x 17". It will not fit my my convertible trunk. The opening for the trunk is about 42" at the rear but it narrows as you go forward.

Try Uber and use their trunk?

Drop the top and put it in the passenger seat.

.......I think the joke is on us.
C5 owners will argue just about anything, even if a fake Christmas tree will fit in the trunk.

Thank you all for your advice! I got a 6.5 foot tree that fit perfectly across the trunk.

Glad to hear it. The C5 has more cargo room than pretty much any other sports car. It's a chameleon.
