Default Use An....

Definately use an 'Escrow' account.

I bought a Victory (based on basic pics), put money in Escrow, had it shipped. What I received was nowhere near the condition he stated.

Shipped it back the next day. Lost the shipping and some escrow fees BUT saved my >$10K purchase price!!

(next time I'm buyin' airfare first and doing an in-person inspection)

Typical scam email. Any deal featuring Western Union is most likely a scam transaction. I am sure emailer just lost his dad who was worth millions but he couldn't get his inheritance so he needed a third party to collect it for him because of his country's laws. He was willing to split that loot in exchange for some money up front

My thing is why would a business need to have services paid for through Western Union........Thanks in advance

Got the information. My apologies! I had this little problem with the shipping agent, the shipping agent says that I will need to pay an upfront payment for the picking up before they can arrange a pick up time and register the car for picking, they charged me $900.00 for picking up and home delivery. I wish to inform you that i would be adding an extra $1,000.00 to the money am transferring into your PayPal account, which is for the charged pick up fee for the pick up company to register the car for pick up. Payment made to shipping HQ can only be sent through Western Union Money Transfer only and there is no Western Union Money Transfer section here at my present location to send the money to them over here. So now i will be transferring the total amount of $10,000.00 into your account and you will help me send the $1,000.00 to the agent via Western Union and the remaining $100 is to cover WU transfer charges.

PayPal insurance policy will be informed about the process as well. Sorry to put this on you, cos without the pick up, the purchase can't hold so that's the reason why your help is needed. So kindly get back to me as soon as possible if you can help me sort this out so i can send the payment ?
Had one individual actually send me a copy of their "So Called" California Drivers License stating that he is working off the coast of HI and couldn't make a transaction at the moment but was VERY interested in the car. I looked CLOSELY and comparing it to others I realized that while making it he forgot something on it. I informed him that I knew it was fake and I will be contacting the authorities and I've yet to hear another peep out of him. Sad how some scum bags sit back and try to figure out how to rip people off. It's coming off of craigslist. I'll go with the old fashioned "For Sale By Owner" display in the window.
