I was born in Saginaw (cold/snow) and lived in Ann Arbor (cold/snow). Moved to New Hampshire (cold/A TON of snow) when I was young then stationed in Northern New York (two words...SNOW BELT) for the military. All I can say is that after my tour of duty was over I left the snow and cold for California. I found a nice happy medium here in Colorado. Sure the mountains get tons of snow but in the Denver area it's really not bad at all. It snows a bit but is typically gone within a few days.

when you have lived a lifetime in a area it's hard to move away from family and friends !!
Got our share of snow last week Pounder!! 5" for us is a lot and stayed for 3 days! Tried getting out of the driveway from garage after couple days, still didn't go to well. Ended up having to cover her up and in a spot in the driveway. Last time I listen to the hubby....oh you got pozzy, you'll be fine! Ya right!!! And I have sleds for tires too!!
