Guys, brand new vette owner. 2001 C5. Received reduced engine power , and based on advice I received, I replaced the ignition switch. I have performed the VATS relearn, but engine still won't turn over. Acts like it isn't getting fuel, but I'm getting pressure on the rail. Here are the codes I pulled from the DIC.
PCM-No Comm
28-TCS-U1000HC
40-BCM-U1256H
58-SDM-U1000HC, U1016HC
i know that the U codes are related to communication, but I'm hesitant to pull the PCM and replace, as I haven't had any experience in flashing a new one.
Been messing with this car for a week, and I'm hoping you guys have the answer. Help is appreciated
Ok, I pulled the battery tray, and no sign of acid spill. Connectors all look good.
No wetness in the passenger floor board. I
pulled the star connectors and no tarnished signs on the connectors.
