I use a set of snap in pucks from BMW. Have had them on the car for seven years and have not lost one.

I have some plastic ones that snap in and you leave them, I got them from a vendor years ago but can't remember who... they have never fallen out and always worked when I used them... they are pretty convenient when you need to jack the car up or put it on a lift since you never have to carry them around with you or remember to put them in

Got my snap and leave them pucks from Southern Auto. They are a vendor on this forum. Good folks! Best wishes!

I checked out the size of some of the dedicated jacking pucks and looked on Amazon and got a bag of 12 3x1 hockey pucks for 19 dollars.

I'm pretty sure that's what the ones with the eyebolts are too, just with an eye bolt added. They even have the checkered edge on them like the standard hocky puck so what do you think? I took one out today and put it up there in the right spot and they look like they are made just for this.

Glad you mentioned this, as I was about to say a hockey puck I was using as chafing gear ( jack protection) developed some cracks and failed.

I know nothing about hockey pucks, and might have selected poorly. From advice here, I got some used hockey pucks as bumpers for the jack points , but one let go, prompting safety concerns. Now I know why I seemed to be the only guy with puck problems, I don't know puck.
