Default tragedy

It looks like the season is over. I had hoped for a couple more weeks, but this snow looks serious enough to warrant salt on the roads. That is the end, my friends. She's getting tucked in to her own, private cottage.

Sad picture. We got some freezing drizzle and a bit of snow today and the city threw a lot of salt out - looks like mine is up for the winter too.

After seeing that picture I went and had a peek out the window. I don't see any of that, whatever it is, out there. Think I'll get mine out tomorrow and go to a car show.

I feel your pain. Mine were done two weeks ago when they put down a liquid brine prior to possible freezing rain the forecast. As if that was not the nail in the coffin the water main broke at the end of my cul de sac this week and as a result they drove up and down the road salting it about thirty times until they had the main fixed.

We just flew up to Boston yesterday from FL for the Holidays. Coming from 80 degree weather to snow and freezing rain really sucks. My C4 is in the heated garage for the winter. My C5 in Florida & gets used a lot unless it's raining out.

After spending 9 hours in Ft Myers airport yesterday with flight cancelations and delays I'm starting to think I have rocks in my head for coming back up North. 7 grandkids is the real reason. I will head back to FL on Jan 8 till it's 70 up north.

I miss it already and it hasn't been 12hrs :-)

Sad picture, snow looks nice, specially living in Florida with our temperature in 80 today.

Yesterday it was 75, sitting outside in a t shirt shelling pecans and enjoying a glass of wine on the lawn with the gal. Got up this morning and it was in the mid 20's. What the hell!! A 50 degree swing in about 10 hours. Felt like I was back north with you folks instead of E Texas. Well, at least there is no snow! Everyone take good care and be safe in the slippery stuff!
