[Z06] Rear shudder

Rear shudder

Once in a while, under sudden hard acceleration I feel the rear end shudder. I've noticed no traction control engaging by DIC pop up, I thought it might be the tires. It's only in 1st gear. Under all other driving conditions everything is great.

Any insight? Aggressive Traction control with no DIC pop up?

Is it wheel hop you're feeling? Very hard on car if so. I can get it in first or second if not careful with the gas pedal.

Potenza re760 sports, maybe 4000 miles on the tires. 19000 on the car. I'm also lowered on the stock bolts.

Ease off the pedal when you feel this. Pretty sure I only had this in first gear before the headers & tune.

Agree sounds like wheel hop to me especially if it's only happening in 1st under hard acceleration. I have a DTE trans/diff brace on mine that helps to prevent this and protects the transaxle from damage during bad wheel hop. A new trans mount would help too.
