Headliner Replacement
I needed a headliner for the targa top of the Coupe. There are no OEM headliners anywhere, so I had one made by a local interior shop and it was a disaster, would not stay up. So I got a bit innovative. I ordered a glass top headliner from RPI Designs. Some simple modifications and it works great. This is what I did. I trimmed off the rear outside plastic tabs as there was no clearance between the panel and frame as there is on the front and sides. I partially trimmed the tabs that go under the rear latch bezel. Then I inserted the front and side tabs under the frame as designed. I did use a bit of automotive 3M double sided tape along the rear where I trimmed the tabs, but in reality it is not needed. I reinstalled the rear latch bezel to cover the edge of the headliner to replace the tabs. Here is the finished top.
