When looking for a 02-04 Z06 Should I consider bone stock or already modded? What problems should I be looking for? What ever I decide on will only be driven on nice days or maybe to a road course now and then.
I would like something I can take to a show and put my personal touches on and also drive autox or road course when time and money allow.

with 8VETTE7 - those stickies will give you a ton of information about the C5 and what to look for. Another thing that is a good idea to do is have any car you are seriously considering checked out by a trusted mechanic that preferably knowledgeable about Corvettes.
it's really up to you as far as comfort level and price. Sometimes you can find a good deal on a modded Z where an owner along the way has spent big $$$ for some serious mods ....saving you the expense and you get all those mods for pennies on the dollar. That being said....research any vehicle or vette you plan to buy thoroughly: car fax, owner info on vehcile, previous owner info, inspection etc. Good luck.
