look at this thread...see the comments already about the color? you never see this about any other color

even silver which is also a historically a low close color. blue on the flip side is the highest
You talk to dealers and I was one my entire working life. I can tell you from a lot of experience that the lower volume odd ball colors ultimately bring more value in the collector car world.

My only drawbacks are I'm not sure about not having a Targa top. And I have to go through the hassle of selling my C4. Although I don't have to sell the C4 to get money for other one.

So, Ron, after four days of input: Did you buy the car or not?

Post 30 I said what happened. I guess everybody didn't even bother to read. I love the yellow, red on the interior turned me off a little more than I thought it would.

The dealership was a different story. I just can't see buying anything from them unless they gave it away.

I appreciate everybody's input have still been reading.

The only cars on my radar right now is a 2001 ZO6 not to crazy about the color and the lower HP but has some nice mods. And a 07 C6.

If I don't buy something in the next couple of weeks, I am just going to buy some AFR heads for the C4.

they definitely can

people have paid up for mint low mile yellow/red c5z's

thing is.....

those people are pretty uncommon

someone wanting a black one or a blue one, that's going to sell in under 2 weeks if you price it right

the other oddity with yellow red is the few i have seen close well were all 5-10k mile like new cars. there was one local one 5 years back that sat in my area for over a year at a 20k list and it only had 29k miles

any other color and that would have been gone in two weeks tops. the car was in great shape too

i mean, if someone really LIKES this color combo, get it, the deals on them are really good, i just would make sure i get in cheap enough that getting out won't be a problem

That and just overall crappy attitude. Didn't seem to care if they sold the car or not. Maybe it was because it was New Years weekend.

i agree on leaving

imo dealerships should advertise at an out the door price OR out the door plus tax and make sure it's completely straight. they should also go over the known flaws in the car and treat each customer with respect and appreciation.

i'm a business owner and even on $99 jobs i say thank you sir, it was very nice to meet you. my business is built on many people just like yourself. each dollar someone gives me is a gift and i never forget that.

you'll find sellers and dealers with a similar attitude if you keep looking. i went through half a dozen c5s before i found the car i really liked. it was also very easy to sell when i sold it last month. it's so worth it to get the car you really want

If that C6 isn't a Z, you will be sorely disappointed after driving a C5z.

After reading some of these posts, seems asking $22,500 for my 04 Z16 with 50,000 miles and a 630hp 416 is in line...

Yeah, but why go for a lesser car for the same or more $$?

Good deal, low mileage.
Rare color combo does not hurt, if you like the mod red interior.
