Reverse lights inoperative

The lights will activate with the key fob and I checked under-hood fuse #2 just to be sure I am not insane, replaced the switch on the transmission and they still will not activate when the car is put into reverse. Is a continuity a more likely candidate than a failed mini-relay?

Correct me if I am wrong but if you are blowing that fuse doesn't that have something to do with a bad reverse switch? that is the issue I was having with mine, once I replaced my switch I stopped blowing that fuse.

Likely yes. I have already replaced the switch so now I just need to replace the fuse.
