hold your cards close, don't give it away. Spring is around the corner and the desire for a sports car will become every young mans desire

My car has the same mods and makes the same power. 02 with h/c/i/e electron blue, 489whp, 14k miles and bought it from the original owner who also did all the mods. I paid 23k for about a month ago in Dallas. For your miles id say 20-21 is fair

Yes, location and time of year play a huge factor. I bought my car in November and prices were low and inventory high within my 500 mile search radius.

<edit> That car was stunning, though. It was also the car that made me realise as much as I loved the Z, I needed a targa more.
Z
And yes I hear ya...mine now has H/C/I/E and is a blast to drive.
The Z was all stock and stunning. 16k on the clock Z is usually a mid 20k car all day at the right time.
Fall is not that time. But like ET said....their is an *** for every seat, and if your patient you can get your price.
I am always with the belief the someone out there is watching and waiting for it to fall into their target price range.

bought my 2003 z with 30k miles in mint condition black on black. interior looks like it was never sat in. steering wheel and shifter leather still has all factory grain makes and no shiny areas in the leather, smells new, makes 470 rwhp on dynojet and 450 on mustang dyno, previous owner owns a corvette shop and modded it to his liking, looks stock until you hear it, engine looks stock as does the whole car... until you hear it.. comp cams lsa cam kit, kooks lt and corsa cat back, ls7 clutch and everything works to perfection. 22.5k. If I had done the mods it would have cost me over 10k so I always love modded cars. stock cars run like crap..slow pigs...I have over 100 hp over stock but idles down like a stocker... also premium color combo, like new underneath car too.

When seeking price I will usually look at Corvette dealers:

This yellow 02Z is 24k with 13k miles

They are FIRM on their price too, I made an offer on that car for 23 and they turned it down. Seem ridiculous to me as they have had it for months. Im sure someone will come along for it eventually, stock ones are always more desirable. Mods(esp engine mods) dont bring up the value on the used car market imo. Even though people will ask the moon for them to try to recoup their losses

My guess is a lot more folks shop for a Corvette from a place called Corvette Warehouse vs Bob's Used Car and BBQ Bonanza.

When you have Corvette in the name, Corvette Tax is to be expected.

Remember cash ALWAYS talks. $19,900? No way! If the car is as nice as it seems, I'd offer $15,500 in cash and show it to them. Then just sit there and wait for them to come back with a counter offer. If they don't make one....walk! But they will, and then you can really start to negotiate. $17K is as high as I'd go.

Almost 3 years ago I paid $25k for my 02Z with 9k miles. I would aim for $25k because of all your mods, but don't settle for less than $20k.

Wheels are the best mod cause you can usually get all or most of your money back , but the other stuff not so much

As for your car im sure you'd find a buyer on the forums who would be willing to pay a bit of a premium , but unless your getting into a viper or something equally as cool I would just keep it.
Except on this forum most of the newbies won't even give the sellers anything for their expensive wheels. If you're selling you're best bet is to de-mod your car and put a set of ruff wagon wheels with used worn out tires on your car and take off all bolt-ons. Most people will prefer stok cars but there are a small amount of buyers looking for H/C and FI cars but will not pay a premium. If the Z06 with 38K miles were stock I would say $19-$20K. Some buyers including me would pay a premium for a modded car if it was done by Lingenfelter, Calloway, ECS....

I think mid twenties is fair.

Although most people look for low mileage / unmodified cars, the fact you had the mods done by Vengeance, should be a plus for anyone looking for a nicely modded Z06.

If I were in the market, I would definitely give you a ring. Mid twenties is a great deal for an 02-04 38K Z06 with around 11K in performance mods done by one of the best GM performance shops in the country.

P.S. I would suggest you list it with the original Vengeance modification list.
