Default How loud?

How loud will this setup be on a 2004 C5 Z06

LG G5XE Cam
Port and Polish Stock 243 heads
LG Super Pro Long Tube header 1 3/4"
Stock C5Z Titanium exhaust

I Heard a C5Z today with Borla Stingers, LG Super Pro 1 7/8" and mild cam (he said it was somewhere around 228/230 at 112LSA) and it was waaaaay too loud for my liking and now I'm worried about how loud my setup is going to be. I've got the above mods getting done in the next month but after hearing that C5Z today I am a little worried that its going to be too loud for my taste

about this loud.

* G5X1
* p/p 243s
* OBX 3/4 headers
* corsa catback

The titanium will be SLIGHTLY less crackly insane at the top of the rev, but I heard my buddy's LS3 swapped C5 through factory titanium, and it was still incredibly loud. every bit as loud as this.

thanks for that vid. that's a lot louder than I was expecting. How much of that volume do you think is attributed to the corsa?

definitely a lot of it. but hey its easier to find a corsa vs titanium sound bite and scale in your head than it is to find the combo you're asking for.

I have a stock cam, Texas Speed headers, MagnaFlow cats and X into Ti's. IME the headers and X with cats really didn't make the car much louder. A bit louder would be nice actually.
Your cam will make it a bit louder. Are you running cats?

Yes, I will be running cats.

The cam is on a 115LSA, besides how less lopey the exhaust will be with that LSA, will it hopefully keep the volume of the exhaust down too?

I live in a small beach town where all the homes are really close to each other and I leave my house to go to work at 5:30am every morning, so my concerns are more based on trying to be considerate to my neighbors.

The TI's will keep it respectable at idle. It won't be a neighbor waker. Add some BB Bullets and it will be loud!

Yep, with cats and Ti's you won't be bothering people much. Our bedrooms are all adjacent to the single garage, I start my car at 6 every morning, wife says she hears it but it's not a problem.

Ok good, you guys definitely put my mind at ease.

I was shocked at how loud this guys car was with a mild cam, borla stingers and catless longtube headers.

I have tis with a mild cam, ported heads, long tubes and a catted mid-pipe. Very mild at idle and sounds great when you get on it.

My '04 Z has 1-3/4" LG Super Pros (no cats), and I was originally running the stock Ti exhaust. Sounded great, but I wanted just a little more without breaking the bank. Ended up buying a cheapo Ti setup with the bypass mod done, and I'm happy with the car as it sits. I'm sure the package you're looking at will sound puuurdy with the cam and better flowing heads. Good luck.
