I recently bought a 99 C5.. I bought him with some little defects think that I can probably fix them myself..
1) Every time i turn on the car I have to turn off the traction control if not it will lock on me?
2) "SECURITY" is always on ?
probably that is why every so often it does not start I try to turn the ignition switch on and it does not go I have to wait a couple of mins and the try it again. Something resets. Not sure but some sound in between the steering wheel opens up like a switch, and the turns on? (That doesn't happens a lot but it is frustrating) lol..
3) the front lower signal lights
Hand break down ! Both lights on. Turn on the head lights and one signal light goes off ? Weird!
like I said I bought this car with a risk but I was willing to take it becouse I felt in LOVE .. please help if you have had any problems like mine I will really appreciate the help with whatever knowledge you may have a difference can be made THANK YOU
1) What do you mean by traction control 'locks on you'? Are you saying the rear wheels are locked? The doors lock? What?
2) Do a search for "column lock" and "LMC5". There are 17 trillion threads on this topic here in the C5 forum.
3) You could have a problem with the wiring harness on that front right side that is affected when the light moves up and down. Turn on the DRLs, and open the hood, and jiggle the wiring over there and see if that affects your light operation.
1) If i don't turn off the traction control before the car starts going, the wheels will lock. To be more specific if I don't turn it off and drive it like that the car a soon it sense that the steering wheel turns it activates the traction control.

2) Colum Lock or LMC5 got it !!!
don't ask me why, but ignition switch ??? they have their issues.
