Limits on the policy:

Comprehensive Deductible: $0, Limit is $29K
Collision Deductible: $0, Limit is $29K

Hope this helps.
Jack ???? are you sure of that?
You mean your comprehensive coverage is only limited to 29 K. so if you hit me and my hospital stay is 50 K + pain an suffering usually 1 to 3X the cost of medical care.. IN severe case that number could be as high as 10X so if you hit me and its a 50 K bill from the hospital and am awarded a 2x pain and suffering that 150K, your insurance company only pays 29K your comprehensive limit... and you are on the hook for the rest???? which would put a lean on your house, car and assets.

BTW, my stay in the hospital in 2013 was 559,000 dollars My Military insurance and Medicare paid 429,000 and the hospital said I own nothing and thank you for your service. that's for two separate surgeries,31 days in critical care, and two weeks guarded care. MY point, hospital care is very expensive. MY hospital has 34 robotic surgical suites and they are always full .

Thanks all.

There clearly is a wide range of insurance options and coverages...

I truly appreciate the direction and hopefully is draws people's attention to their own coverages and limitations.

I'll definitely be looking into USAA.

Why are you guys listing your insurance limits? What's next, your SSN, mother's maiden name and the name of your first pet?

I custom built my car from salvage to have it just the way I want it. I didn't want to tear up a good low mileage car to make it the way I wanted. It's a hobby.

USAA seems to be okay with it. My biggest fear would be proving the cars worth in the event of a total loss. A lot of it's value to me is time I have in researching, building and sourcing the right parts. I wonder how mileage is taken into consideration on a restoration project. I should probably get appraised somehow.

If It were ever damaged I would probably re-restore with the insurance money.

You want to get "agreed value" coverage then. Make sure USAA will give this kind of policy. Even though I've had auto loans with them (and still do) USAA could never beat Geico on insurance costs. What I do like about USAA though, is that they will finance classic cars without a crazy high interest rate like JJ Best and the other guys.

i also have had my coverage with adam boca at the corvette museum and have had great service from their agency. i had my 78 pace car and 04 commemorative ed on the same policy (no young drivers), 3k miles a yr but with the option to take it to work occasionally and the premium was better than any of the other major companies i received quotes from. sold the 78 and now have a street rod and they still provide the best coverage for the best price for comparable coverage. their service is second to none in my opinion.

It is hard to get home owners insurance near the Beach in Florida.

I live near the beach and have pit bulls and cars.

It is a little tight!

For 652. we get 300k/500k/and a million in overall comp/coll coverage. $500. deductible and a personal umbrella policy. No mileage, driver, or driving restrictions. Discount from membership 40+ years, includes towing and other misc stuff/fluff. This is actual cash value coverage.

I've checked with NCM, Hagerty, and ACI, since this thread started, each was more expensive (not much) and a whole lot of cumbersome restrictions which to me restricted my enjoyment, thus my use. I've had USAA over 40 years with two claims, in both instances they exceeded my expectations in value, payment and overall service! Without hesitation nor reservation I recommend them to all former and active duty.

So you have an actual cash value policy which will only pay you market value for your car if you total it. The OP was talking about an agreed value policy.

$100 a month is cheap for how great Hagerty policies are.
