Whine on Acceleration?

Good afternoon all. Got my transmission rebuilt on my '01 about 6 months and I'm noticing a whining noise on acceleration. After reading some of the forum posts I seeing that it could be the differential. Is the differential part of a transmission rebuild? Thanks for the help.

Thanks...just didn't know if that was a part of a standard transmission rebuild or a separate rebuild. Supercharger would be music to my ears as well...

If they rebuilt the diff you'd of known ( hopefully ) as the shop would advise the run in procedure. You have to baby a diff rebuild for the first 500+ miles.

did it do it before the rebuild ?? if not I would call the re-builder !!
