Recently purchased an 04 with 33K miles. Car is immaculate which leads me to believe the previous owners maintained the car well. I have very few maintenance records so I am not sure if any of the fluids have been changed tho.,(except for oil....have those records). Although the car is 12 years old, it only has 33K miles on it. Should I change all the fluids....tranny (automatic), power steering, differential, brake or some of them and not others... Help.
it can't hurt to change the fluids, the brakes would require a Brake bleed using a Tech 2 . Dealer only, would be pricy. I feel it can be the most important fluid change, (EBCM flush)
I would change out the fluids. Even though you have very low miles on the car the fluids could be 12 years old. Oils and additives do break down over time even if they have been just sitting.
When I bought my '02 Coupe I changed all the fluids. I think it's a good idea if for no other reason than to have a reference point for future fluid changes.

If you do not have maintenance records to show what has been done to the car over the years, I would recommend changing all the fluids. Obviously if you have oil change records, that can be skipped.
I would also carefully check the belts and hoses and replace as needed.
I'm sure it was listed but it didn't jump out, so....change the hoses, they could be over ten years old or older. And yes, I realize we are talking about fluids but plugs and other non-fluid items came up.

Reason: add
I have to say like the rest of members here, it doesn't hurt but the pocket book, but if you have done, then you have record that you know it's all fresh fluid.
