Stripping Console Bezel
My console bezel is peeling, so I am going to attempt to cover it with leather. What is the best way to remove the peeling coating in advance?

John, you are a talented guy. I would suggest the obvious,, no chemicals... I would sand it by hand,( #400 grit ) then I would clear it with a rattle can of infusion clear( found at home depot or Lowes ).. its an acid etching paint designed for plastics..
