Default Fangs

Does anyone have fangs installed to protect the front of their car from getting damaged from low curbs, etc.

I have them also.. well worth the money.. they cover up any damage and help with potential future damage.

One word of caution when installing them.
You might find that the surface your are installing these fangs to protect, is a bit damaged from scraping over speed bumps, badly angled driveways, parking sops etc.

The fangs will be a bitch to install if the area has damaged, and you will have to use a grinder to smooth out the damaged areas before the fangs will fit correctly.
If there is no damage, installation is quite simple, and does not take very long.

Bob.

Easy install if minimal scrapes.

Have them also. After buying the car found the radiator support (cage) was damaged. Replaced with a new one and installed the fangs. Did it all on a set of ramps. Great product. Still watch out for big bumps tho.

I just installed some on my 04 easy to install . I had to bend them a little I guess my bars were bent a little easy to do and I already have skid marks on them .. You have to do a little baming here and there to get them to fit right but well worth the effort ..

I bought and installed them for peace of mind when the black color Fangs were first released. Still not a mark on them.

Mine do their job when needed, this is at the end of my driveway once my tires come off the curb onto the street, about 1/4" clearance.

I have the rollers and I love them, not sure if they're still sold but my fangs still look new along with the underside of the front bumper.

Well, I had no intention of buying fangs prior to reading this thread today and then suddenly caught myself buying a set from SacCityCorvette moments later.
