CAN Bus Simulator for learning

FYI,

I found quite a few bugs in my CAN Simulator and have updated the program. Also added a new HEX to Decimal, Decimal to HEX, HEX to ASC, and ASC to HEX converter as part of the program.

We added features for error codes as well. You can now throw error codes. Using the HEX to ASC, HEX to Decimal codes, you should be able to figure out what the codes mean. There are tables under Help menu to assist you in figuring this out.

Please note, that this is a learning tool only. The CAN codes do not represent any one vehicle. I am working on getting the bin file for 5th Gen Corvettes and once I do, that is the model I will use going forward.

Once I teach the class, I will release the Powerpoint deck as well to go along with the class.

Go to Products page. Click on the Can Sim picture. This will download the file to your computer.

NOTE: You must have Java 8 runtime installed on your local machine in order to use this program.
