Diff up grade options swap or build?
Hey guys. I plan on buying a 01 to 04 z06 in the near future. I have purchased the ECS brace and the pfadt brace as well. After I bought these, I saw that alot of folks are swapping to the c6 z06 stuff. Would I be better off returning those items and getting a used z06 c6 set up?
My plan is to use the two braces and then have the c5 diff upgraded with the c6 z06 guts. I want others opinions before I commit to that however.
The car will make between 600 and 700 rwhp. It will mostly be a street driven car.

It's at least $4,000 to swap over to a C6Z trans and diff along with the C6 cradle. And that's if you just buy OEM stuff from a recycle yard.
That said, it's tremendously stronger than th C5 setup.
If your just running hard on the street and not going to the drag strip on a regular basis, the C5 diff with C6 guts should be good enough for you.

You also have to redo your exhaust system to accommodate the C6Z rear cradle, so costs will pile up.
