I have a 50th AE convertible with a droopy visor. I tryed removing it and failed, body shop also failed to remove it. Can I replace the cardboard with the visor still attached and hand sew the cover back on?
Thanks, Larry

You can do anything you want but those visors are relatively cheap.. removal is not hard its just tricky , to unlock the ring lock.
note how the visor support is used to help unlock the lock ring. Once you know how to do it.. its turn the ring pull it down reach inside the opening disconnect the plug and pull it out. once the lock ring is turn, it should take less than 15 minutes to install a new one.

There is a how to on the forum for zip tying the sag out. I did it to my visors and they are a million times better. I also had to add a small piece of rubber to keep my visor light from staying on. I will probably replace in the next year but this makes them look good for now.
