Damn!! Color me green! Love black vettes, my favorite color. Not a vette, but the '62 409 impala brought back memories. Had one, foolishly sold it off many years back. Hindsight is always....... Thats some collection! Thank you for the post, really enjoyed it, take care!

Very cool. Bill lived a few miles from me and one day Bill invited me to see his collection. There were over 100 Corvettes.................all black. He had one of every Vette made except 1953. They were all white. I bought my 1998 from him 6 years ago and it had 14,000 miles on it. Bill also had many other cars and a collection of Harley Davidson cycles I think 25. Bill is one of the nicest most generous people I know. His farm in Horse Shoe, NC is spectacular. I moved back to Texas 4 years ago.
