with 250,000 dollar houses everywhere else in the country, going for 750,000 in La, it will be hard to find a shop that is reasonable.

Here are 2 shops based on previous posts from satisfied Forum members:
I live on the East Coast so can't vouch personally.
Spot 28/contact is Warren in Arcadia - (626) 447-0219
American Heritage Performance in Harbor City - (310) 326-2399
Please give us a review later.

I recently needed the hazard switch replaced on my C5. The dealer wanted $500+ for this. I found a shop in Canoga Park, not exactly your back yard, but they did the fix in a few hours, charged $250, including the cost of the switch.
Just a small job, but talking to the mechanic for a few minutes let me know he knows what he is doing. I would go back to them. It's called The Corvette Shop, on Topanga Canyon Blvd.

I could be wrong, but I believe you could've byassed it and still had hazards for quite a bit less than 250$
