Default Headed to the shop: need quick advice

I'll be headed to Mavis to have two new rear tires added to a set of wheels I just purchased. I'll also be having them swap the TPMS sensors from my current wheels as well as the almost new front tires. As the C5 is new to me, I have a few questions:

As far as swapping the TPMS sensors, how do they get removed and attached to the wheel? I want to make sure these guys know what they're doing.

Also, how should they lift the car using their standard style car lift? I do have a set of home made pucks that came with the car. They're Nike hockey pucks with what appears to be metal eye hooks inserted into them. Again, I want to make sure the shop doesn't screw anything up.

As far as tpms there simple, don't think that a tire shop would screw that up.

Same thing my mechanic uses my pucks all the time. That is the best way to lift the car.

The plastic will break surrounding the lift point if pucks aren't used. My experience

I would SHOW THEM that all four sensors work at the time of car delivery!
That way when they don't work at time of car pick up, you have a LEG to stand on!

I would also make sure that they know that each sensor is programmed to send pressure to that specific tire location.

If they SWAP around the sensors, the report of low pressure on the passengers front may actually be the driver rear once there done!

You can easily REPROGRAM them using the DIC and a magnet if that happens but, it good to know.

I'd also have them replace the gaskets on the TPMS. Cheap insurance against a slow leak.

All very good advice. The sensors have a nut that threads on from the outside to keep them in place. The shop will need to remove the nut and the sensors should come loose.

Well, putting the pucks in place, put the lift under pucks and up she goes, right??

Maybe, maybe not.
Last time I had my fronts replaced, they swapped sides with the rims, and didn't know how to retrain the TPMs.

One of the nicer things about the C7 tpms, they retrain on their own.
