That is the Corvette shop I use for my C3. I know that car, I have sat in it, it is in immaculate condition, and, being that only 15 of them were made, IN THE WORLD, it is quite rare. I know from a little research that most of the other 14 are in private collections.

If I didn't still have a small loan balance on my CE, I'd buy this Aztec Gold C5 in a heartbeat. If you buy it, you will never see another one!

If it's still around in 7 months, I may do that!

By the way, and I have no affiliation with this shop other than being a customer, they are great people, fair, and professional. Each of the employees greet me by name when I go in for service. Kudos out to my C3 Guru, Alan!

As an investment to be held for the next 10 years --no--it wouldn't be a good investment.

37k --just for the joy of owning a historic and rare C5? Maybe--if you have the disposable income.

I just like the color and would consider at a lower asking price.

I like the way it looks in gold , I thought 37 seemed like a high price but I am no expert. Figured I'd ask members with a lot more experience

C5 Corvettes are a dime a dozen. This one is "special", just ask the marketing team. Want a used one with rechromed wheels, aftermarket window tint and a "special" price to match the old man tan color? This may be for you! Think you need it in you collection because it may go up in value? Pass the pipe, I want what you are smoking! Nice car, wrong price, wrong transmission, ........

Rare color or not thats a lot of money for an old C5. Cashing in later? I don't know, but for certain God knows I've been wrong before more times that I can remember. In these days of $100K VW buses, $200K C2 vettes, and seven figure Cobras I guess anything is possible. Take care!

I have seen an Aztec Gold C5 at Kerbeck's before and while it really looked good and obviously is a rare color, I do not think I would pay $37K for one.

wtf is wrong with you? I never said I was going to buy it, If you can read I asked what everyone thought of the price, then I said I liked the color. I have to tell you I have been on this forum for about a year and most folks here nice. But then there are the asses like you that feel it necessary to make obnoxious replies to simple questions , here is my reply gfy

And this year those VW's were $250k!!

Personally I think the gold doesn't look good on the C5. $35k, not here!
