Corvette brothers and sisters, and especially to Pounder, a friend of the ultimate order. This brought tears to my eyes.
Actually, I do have peritoneal sarcomatoid mesothelioma, late stage 4. It is incurable at this stage and, actually rarely responds to chemo. I have decided to forgo any further treatment, as it is unlikely to benefit me and will take away the few good months I have left. The cocktail they had me on with little chance of benefit was completely debilitating. I still cannot walk 10 feet. Hospice will suffice.
My wife will be selling my 02 vert with 22 K on it soon after my death. Any support for her would be appreciated. She is not a car person. I would sell it now, but USAA insurance will pay it off upon my death. Financing it was cheaper than using IRA funds. It is a beauty. I would be happy to send info to anyone who may know somebody who may have an interest in a really beautiful and issueless C5 at a very fair price. I am real fussy and I bought it with 18,700 on it at about NADA with upgrades on it; Kooks, Borla, Elite Engineering, Conti, etc.
Thanks again, SO MUCH,
Dave

Dave, if and when you have to sell, and I'm praying that you don't, I will bring your cars info to our next club meeting, perhaps I can be of some help to your family, I would certainly try if it becomes necessary, but I'm still hoping for the best for you. Best wishes and God Bless. Sincerely, Mike P.

that is very kind of you. It is such a nice car, that I think it will sell fast so long as it is fairly priced. Often, folks seem to price real high for the low mileage cars. Mine is the loaded 1sc. It is sitting at about 390 HP and is an absolute joy to drive. Best one of the 8 I have had.

God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, or sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way. If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.
Dave, prayers to you and your family. I have some family down your way at Del Webb in Summerville. Wish I was down there visiting them, would stop by for a chat. Good Bless.
