How is it attached? Do you have to cut or modify anything?

Has mounts on each end that fit over the hump behind the seats. Connected to car with super tape (holds really well). Yes you have to cut the carpet on each side to get to the medal underneath. Carpet then folds up and over the bottom of each mount. Hope that helps

Yes, that helps. I've been considering getting a wind restrictor of some kind. Thanks again.
I had the smoked one but found it didn't do much without the windows rolled up and even then it wasn't great plus it interfered with viewing out the back window with the top up so i took it out.
