Barry - If you feel so inclined add your location to your profile. I've reached out to local guys before as some have to me as well. I know there are many others that will as well.

I will do that ...and just for public knowledge through this thread, I am
located in Tallahassee, Florida, which is the state capital and only a hop, skip and a jump from South Georgia.

Welcome to the forum. Do you have pics of your car...we love to see pics, or at least I do. I have learned so much on here and there is an answer for every problem. I don't belong to Corvette club because I autocross and I belong to the SCCA instead. I'm a fast and loud and mod it type vette owner, not a show & shine!!!.....plus I have black wheels (you'll get to see the forum controversy on those too!!! lol).

I belonged to a "club" for two years, I quit. I found out it was all about the money and the club and not about the people or the cars!!

I am going to take some pics of the car later today; however, I have been spoiled with working with an iMac and all of the sites I have interacted with for my business (aerial photography) enabled image sharing by simply copying and dragging or selecting from my hard drive with a user-friendly interface. I will give it a try this evening. If to no avail, I will get some assistance. I found the area where one is to download to an album...so maybe it will go smoothly!

One thing I wanted to ask. I have seen a lot of cars with very shiny black tires; however, in my limited experience with products to produce such, the stuff ended up on the body of the vehicle, which turned me off to making tires shiny. What/s the consensus on that?

Try Chadwicks No Sling Tire dressing

From the site:
Chadwick’s No Sling Tire Dressing leaves a “just like new” appearance with UVA/UVB sunscreen added to preserve your tires integrity. It is formulated in crème form so there is zero waste. Spray dressings end up coating your clean car with overspray no matter how hard you try to avoid it. Chadwick’s No Sling can also be used on any interior vinyl, leather for that dressed look. It will of course, “Dry to the Touch”.

“DRY TO THE TOUCH” No Sling Tire dressing was born out of demand & a need to provide results that worked & preserved your tires not just dress them. No more greasy mirror finish, or “phony look”. A common problem with all other tire dressings are they “sling” or spray down the side of your just cleaned car & make a mess. They also spin onto your wheels & attract more dirt & dust making your clean car look dirty in just days. Well that's a shame...my club is just the opposite.

Barry, I was going to recommend this stuff about a week ago and got sidetracked. Picked it up at Carlisle and it is the best I've ever used.
