I used the polished stainless steel inserts from Mid-America. Been on two years now.
I had the polished stainless but didn't like how from certain angles the light would shine differently on the pieces. Your E to the right is the perfect example the center section of the E throwing a different shade.
Have no idea what brand these are, just bought the car last month, but kinda like it. Still have to get WA plates on it, but its not coming out till April at the earliest anyways....

My opinion, get the stainless steel ones. If you want them a different color, light sand them, throw a good 3 coats of your color on it, and then some clear coat. Mine came with red vinyl and I replaced them with stainless in the front and back.
Vinyl will take in UV and fade over time, and possibly crack. I do vinyl work on the side and even I would rather the stainless inserts.
