Go buy some moving blankets from UHaul or Harbor Freight.
-Clean the car first.
-Lay the blankets over it.
-Hose the car down with the blankets on it. The water ought to hold the (now heavy) blankets down and the blankets should reduce chances for any damage.
I got stuck in a moderate 20 minute hail storm when I was bringing my C5 home for the first time. It sounded terrible and amplified because of the glass roof, but the Corvette came out of it with no damage.
Seriously, lots of good suggestions here. I would not take a change on my Corvette. I would try and find the best protection possible, garage preferably. The huge U-Haul blankets would probably be choice 2.

I've actually done this and it worked great, no damage, but the hail was only about nickel sized.
ONLY nickel sized!!?? I've never seen hail bigger than maybe 3/8"... wow.
There are people in parts of this country that would laugh at nickel sized hail, but it scared me pretty good. Luckily my car was already clean and I had a couple big moving blankets nearby or I would've been in trouble since the storm came along without much warning.

Same here several years ago in my C5 - got caught in a hail storm that came out of nowhere, I was sure the paint at least would be toast when I got home - no damage at all (and I detail my car daily looking for any flaw).
I have be caught in a couple other hail storms over the years in my C4's and no damage there either, but I would never "plan" ahead to weather one!

I have been through at least 200 hail storms here in West Texas, but I have never seen anything bigger than about a "quarter" - usually "pea-sized". The local weather always claims reports of "baseball-sized" hail during those storms, but I have never seen it... FAKE NEWS! It is always reported by some farmer in a remote location who coincidentally was abducted by aliens and probed.
With baseball size hail you would probably see a lot of broken windshields? Like Big Foot, I know it exists, but "I" have never seen it personally.
This came out of the storms last night in the Upper Midwest:
We had hail in VA this weekend. Fortunately the only thing out in it was my E550 daily driver, which my GF was driving. It's mostly fiberglass body panels on top surfaces, and it fared fine.
Vettes seem to very well with hail. Over the 11 years or so that I've owned them, I've come across many news articles where a dealership got hammered and anywhere from 20-200 cars had hail damage. Some of them were bad enough that the windshields and glass on the Vettes were damaged, but the bodies and paint were perfectly fine. Most of the other cars needed extensive hail damage body repair.
