I also like the fact that you did not blowout your rear fenders to go with the wider rear tires but did the trunk tuck modification instead ! It maintains the original C5 body lines which look so nice.

What engine mods. did you do ? What kind of power do you make ?

Do you still own it ?

JETZ i have the radioflyer head lights on order right now, yours look sweet.

Another option now offered from radioflyer for $100.00 more are HALO rings around the high beams when you are just running the low beams - they come in light blue, 6000k or higher it think ?

I am ordering mine that way.

Now that you guys have convinced me to stay away from lameness, I think with all the yellow convertible stick-ons in the picture that ride is truly LAME !

If you go to check-out you can buy one, two or four canards.
Two canards are $149.99.
But I don't recommend these canards for you; these are hard core carbon canards for racing. They are not pretty. I think you are
looking for a show car look.
Good luck.

I think canards only look good on track-type cars that have 100% of the other functional aero parts (diffuser, wing, air dam etc.). I've seen some bmw m cars that look really good with them.

Personally I don't feel the smooth lines of the c5 are well suited to stick on aero parts. My rule thumb is that if it's suposed to be installed with alcohol wipes and double sided tape, there's no real aero benefit being realized and the part should be avoided.

I never use my pop ups in the city, as I have my fogs converted to hid. also so plenty of light. The 'Angel eye, or halo rings' for me would be a waste, since I never drive with them up in the city. I've had them on my BMW, and are cool, just a matter of taste.
I run 6K, in both my HL & fogs, any higher, and the colours go more purple...

ZEEZERO-6, thank you for the generous kind words.

Never cracked into motor, didn't want to mess with the warranty when it was new, so just intake & exhaust. So VR,Ceramic LG Pro Long tubes, Random Tech Cats, into X pipe, Borla Stingers. Had it tuned by Chuck Cow. I think it made 388 something. Can't remember if I still had the Titainium on, or that was with my Borla's. Haven't done any mods in a long while except my 'catch can'.

Yup, still have her. Is an LS7 in her future, hmmmmmm....

JETZ I am with you, I have done minor performance mods. also, the car is fast enough for the street - it still scares me when I jump on it.

Maybe in a month or so. It's filthy and uncared for. We endured a 7 month remodel, and only one bay of our garage is open enough to squeeze the 'Vette into. Just before the snow blew. I really need a top to bottom Patches quality clean up.

I did find this partial. I don't take photos of the car anymore. All my old ones went to cyberspace when the ZO6Vette.com's servers fried; right before I started here.

Nope NO LS7 for you! Call me BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING!

Don't bother with LS2/LS3/LS7 cause your computer won't like it.... Trust me.

4.10s is a much less expensive mod and WELL WELL worth doing BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE!

TRUST ME.. PLEASE!

I got a friend with an LS3 in his C5. No problems at all so far. I've seen guys with LS7s too. Now I don't know if they changed the computer or not, but if you have to then I wouldn't see a problem in it IMO. I'm going for a iron 6.0

#1 reason NOT to do it is that the knock sensors will never work as well as they should no matter what you do.

Knock is something I WANNA KNOW ABOUT.... And installing an LS7 just to do a "conservative" tune is silly.

EVERY stick car NEEDS 4.10s. You're crazy if you don't think so.

A stock C5 motor with bolt on's and 4.10s makes it last forever and is plenty powerful.

If you gotta go crazy, a small cam will be really fun.

Back in highschool..... We all know the guys that put Holley 750 double pumpers on their stock 305 engines....

Sounded like a good idea..... But didn't work so well...

Installing a giant motor just to compensate for the issue EVERY VETTE HAS..... LACK OF REAR GEARING....

Is silly in my book....
