Weather Strip Replacement help?

Hi guys,

I'm brand new to the Corvette world and to this forum. I just bought a 2001 C5 Coupe today! I need to replace the rear roof and window weather strip. It seems self explanatory how to remove what's on there with goo gone and what not.

What kind of adhesive should I apply when putting on the replacement weather strip?

I just did my targa top seals with 3M 08008. not sure what the difference is between 08001 and 08008.

One is black and one is yellow. I think.
