Does anyone know why my drivers seat will not keep it's memory position?? When I get in the car and set to the correct position it remembers as long as I'm driving it that day. If I don't drive it for several days the memory is lost. Thanks

Are you accidentally using 2 different key fobs?

... or are you maybe not setting it properly? You mentioned putting everything in the right spot, didn't mention setting it.

Alex I am using only one key fob. I get into the car and set the memory and it works fine for that entire day, but if I don't drive the car for several days it forgets and loses the memory

I set the memory and everything works for that entire day that I drive the car, but if it sits for several days and I get back in the car the memory is gone and I have to reset it.
Thanks for the feed back

If you're setting it right (holding number button on door until it bleeps, to matching FOB number), then I'll just consider this a bump to hope somebody more knowledgeable can help you.

How is your battery voltage? It could be losing memory because your battery is getting weak.

My car would do something similar but with the mirrors. I would have the memory set but then randomly it would adjust the mirrors to wherever it wanted. I think its just the electronics being old and just acts up. Anyhow, if its feasible for you just set the seat to where you want and unplug the harness. I know this isn't ideal but at least you won't have to keep adjusting it.

I'm setting it correctly, but another member just brought up another thought and I will try my other fob and see if that works. Maybe it is only programmed to one fob. Thank you

Brand new battery. I am going to try my other fob and see if that holds the memory. Thank you for your input

I am going to try my other fob first and see where that goes. Thanks for your input, but yes some of these old cars act up on the electronics.

But you programmed it, you dont know which FOB?
Use FOB1 to open car, get everything where you like it, hold button 1 on door until bleeps.
Repeat for FOB2 for your significant other. Or just don't use it.
