Or you could try a facebook search. It seems like half the world has a page there.

It should be against forum policies to post someone else's address without his/her consent.

If a person posts, "I'm looking for the previous owner of Corvette vin xxxxxx, formerly owned in xxxxx USA", please PM me if you have any info, that's one thing. But posting the former owner's name and address, NO WAY!!

Russ - the posting of personal information about an individual (name, address, etc.) is against the forum's user agreement. I have deleted that information from your post.

If you want to edit your original post and just indicate the information mentioned by leadfoot4 in the post above, that would be fine.

Or try sending a letter to the last known address as also mentioned above.

Good move.
Also you might not want to post your phone number online as you have web crawlers that pick up that info for spammers and other unsavory characters.
If you must leave your phone online, do it such as 3six3 seven 84two6 etc. so info is not picked up.

The purpose of the posting is to see if the previous owner reads it, can contact me, or someone who knows him can let him know that the new owner wants to talk to him.
