My F14s were gunmetal when I bought them, but had them finish painted black along with my exhaust.

Black wheels looked cool a 100 years ago, but not so much anymore. I would love to see a smoked chrome wheel as the latest thing though. That would be much more interesting than what looks like a doughnut spare that even the OEM's have used nowadays.

They already make a black chrome...is this this different that what you call "smoked"?
