Default Wheels

Any of you got Forgestar F14'S or TSW Nurburgring wheels for your vette? I have a Torch red coupe and am thinking about getting a set of either one of these in gun metal or bronze. The Forgestars I can get in the exact same width size as stock but the TSWs are a half inch bigger or smaller. Will that make difference? Is it a deal breaker?
Pictures would be great if you have any.

Mahalo,
Rob

Mahalo,

I recently did this myself, I really like them. The size info is:
- 18x9.5 +50 & 18x11 +53 for the F14's

Those wheels look great on your car. What size tires did you go with?

the concave face of the forgestars make the wheels and the car look way more aggressive. I was originally going to buy the f14 in the 18/19 combo.

Thanks to you all. All your cars look awesome! I'm definitely going this route. Not sure if matte gun metal or bronze yet though. Leaning towards gun metal.

Keep it coming!

Also, what about my size concerns? Both the front and rear wheels from TSW are 1/2" different in widths than my stock ones. Already ordered my tires same size as stock.

Thanks!

I've got forgestar CF5's and TSW's thinking about maybe selling my TSW's

Both 18/19 265/35/18 & 305/30/19 Forgestar's are a half inch wider, the textured finish on the Forgestar's is so easy to take care of, and easy to clean due to the wide spoke design.

My F14s were gunmetal when I bought them, but had them finish painted black along with my exhaust.

I'm considering removing the black halo on mine, and going to gold or copper wheels this year.

I did Nitto NT555's all the way around as I had good luck with them on my past cars.
265/35 ZR18 97W Front
295/40 ZR18 103 W Back

I daily drive this vette so I was looking for a good sport tire

I hope this helps.

Gunmetal Forgestars look great on your C5. I think that these would look great on my Black C5 Coupe in gloss gunmetal.
