Okey how many of you still have your Corvettes under wraps and waiting on spring....As for my self I am waiting and living in the Great White North it is a loooooong wait. With only two seasons here (winter and waiting on winter) it is a killer of Corvette joy!
Me for one, although I backed it out of the garage to take a few photos of the box it's parked in. It was real tempting to take a drive but no liability insurance during winter months. Maybe in a couple weeks...
We in Chicago have been fortunate this winter- Early winter snow, but then days of rain to wash the salt away. Between the C3 and newer C5, I have been able to drive several days each month, and today was incredible- 62 degrees, light overcast, light winds. I took a 2 hour cruise in the C5 through the forest preserves along the Kankakee River and back.
Here is the C3 on News Year Day this year next to the frozen Monee reservoir, and below that the C5.
Piffle. Colorado can be as nasty as anyplace. But even in the dead of winter, there are nice days. We've been having a monsoon recently (the adjuster was out today and wrote me a check for $18,000 for damages) so it's been Jeep this past week. But I had Loki out last week, and I expect to drive her to work tomorrow.

Love your '82 C3. The C3 line up are my favorite generation Corvettes. I had a '80 and still miss it, believe it or not?! I have a '05 SSR and '03 vert. Love 'em both too. Thanks for posting. Greetings, Rob

Mine's down and may not see the light of day this year. Waiting on funds to free up for a new set of heads. Would have had them already but got double whammied last year with a new house A/C unit then a huge industry slowdown at work that took the wind out of the play money sails the second half of the year.

Here is hoping work will pick up for you. Funny how it all depends on ones financial situation. I will be retiring in 30 days and being locked in a fixed income situation is getting my attention...but I still would rather be at home than at work..lol. All the best, Rob
Took my '04 for a short drive this morning and then finished (I hope) getting the sticky stuff off the air bag cover. Took three applications of Goof-Off to get it all.
Today its raining, thundering and in the 60's. But, last several days its been running in the 70's to mid 80's and beautifully sunny, so got some nice cruising in. Gotta enjoy it now because in a few months it'll be unbearably hot and humid, you just don't want to be outside much past 10 or 11 am. Have a good one!
