I get the feeling it's plastidip or not a permanent look in some way. I can live with it, just the corvette sitting next to the Prius reminds me how great it is to be in a car inspired by passion, rather than an electric econobox.
Well, I have not seen a "Thumbs Up" yet in this thread!
I can't even bring myself to say "If it makes the owner happy, that is all that really counts"! My dog licking his ***** makes him "happy". Some women breast feeding at the restaurant makes them "happy". They both have a "right", but don't make me look at it in public!
I have been working in "design" for over 40 years and with very few exceptions, if you are going to make most clients "happy" in the end, you have to accept that their revisions will degrade the final product. Your 40 years of award winning design experience will always take a backseat to a comment from a significant other (or even a total stranger with an opinion), It is even worse now due to Social Media and the like. What is most important to most clients is that the final product somehow bears their unique "footprint" even it turns out fugly. What that Corvette looks like to me is something that he posted on Facebook asking for opinions and he ended up trying to make EVERYONE "happy"!
