That's a definitive NO....
All I can do is shake my head at something like that. I delivered a brand new Aston Martin DB11 in the Chicago suburbs about 3 weeks ago. Now picture this....The outside color is Madagascar Orange....The interior is Deep purple and Cream truffle. The salesman came out and said, "Do you have a gaudy looking DB11 on your truck?" I just laughed, I said, "Yeah, 1 of the 2 is hideous". The car was special ordered obviously but, the buyer had to put down 50G's as a deposit. Apparently Aston Martin, called the dealership a few times just to verify that the color combo was correct. I think they were just as astounded. I guess when you have 250 thou+ to drop on a car, then you should be able to pick what you want but, talk about killing the resale value.

Am I understanding you correctly?? That you are comparing Rick's C5 to that nightmare looking C4?
I'm no fan of red but, I'm here to tell you that particular C5 is VERY well done all around. That's a gorgeous car.
Rick's C5 has been complemented on more times, in more threads than I care to count. This particular C4 with the hideous paint and wheels has debuted here in it's first thread and the majority overwhelmingly say it looks like ka-ka.
Having a bad day or you just don't like his car? There's a BIG difference, his car is actually tasteful, the other one makes me want to rush to the commode and heave.

My best guess would be a musician, although the possibility of a professional athlete is certainly feasible. Special orders, I don't bother looking for the client's name. As long as I get it from point A to B, without any damage is my goal.
