how to Dyno an Automatic C5
Hi,
Iam looking for some help in how to dyno a C5 50th anniversary corvette tha is automatic.
I know that 3rd = 1:1. But what procedure should I do to ensure the vette do not downshift?
Also what is the rear end on this vettes 2.73?

for comments on the procedure.But as far as the rear gear ratio, it would depend. The base ratio is the 2.73 but if the car has the optional performance rear gears, they would be 3.15s. Look at the RPO sticker and see if there is a G92 entry - if so, it has the 3.15s.

With HP tuners you can manually put the car into 3rd gear with the data logger and lock it in for the pull.
