On a LS1, vette....What heads (OEM) work better than stock an why?

Ported 243s. Better flowing....there's tons of info on this. Just use the search function

Are the Z06 heads better? If so why? Want to put better heads on when we do the Cam...

The 243s are the C5 Z06 heads. They're the best OEMs that fit LS1/2/6.

There's two 243 heads that I know of. One is from a Z, and has sodium hollow exhaust valves, and the ones from LS2s don't. Depending on your budget, I recommend either as cast Trickflow 220s, or CNC'd 215s.
