Getting my convertible tinted tomorrow morning. Is there any reason to not do the windshield strip?? Sensors, ect?? I couldn't think of or see anything but I've only had the C5 for a little over two months.
Personally I don't like the look of brows (front windshield top strip aftermarket tint), but I seriously doubt it would interfere with what you are asking. I do like dark tint, just not on the front windshield where there is already factory tinting. JMHO.

I have a couple of my cars with a full front tint that is barely noticeable, the installer stated it was approximately 40% better than no tint and you can tell the difference.

My car has a windshield strip when I bought it. I tore that **** right off. It was stupid. At night it was like driving a tank as you could only really see through half the windshield.
Louisiana has tint laws but the police don't even follow them most of the time. Coming from and still riding motorcycles, I like to see the person at the wheel. Does help you anticipate their actions.
Well doesn't it matter how tall a sun strip you fit? 4" is a bit different than 8". I find my crumbling visors (Ekler's running late...) do a poor job when the sun is at the top edge of the windshield, and just a bit more at that edge would serve well.
