Default Clutch master cylinder replacement question

I need to replace the clutch master cylinder on my sons 2002 Z06. What tool do I need to release the quick disconnect on the line going to the slave cylinder? I'm thinking it may be a fuel line disconnect tool and if so what diameter line is it?
Thanks

I replaced mine (04 Z) last year and I can't remember what I used but I have no special tools I must have used my set of fuel line tools .. Its the same as the fuel lines just have to get the right size .. The old parts house has a kit with different one it .. Trust me that is that easy part .. Wile your at it might want to try the peddle without the spring I did and never looked back..

Don't go with OEM, Buy the tick.....I used a fuel line tool but it was a few years ago and I don't remember the size. If you have the kit with them all, it is in there...

+1 for buying a Tick Master. Worth every penny, solves the sticking clutch pedal issue.

Thanks for all of the replies. My son lives in a small town in another state so I wanted to be sure I have the right tool with me
